Anna has worked as an Associate Attorney since 2018 and has been a member of the Stephan Zoruas team since 2017, when she worked as a law clerk. As a member of the Stephan Zouras legal team, Anna has worked tirelessly on an array of individual and class action lawsuits, arbitrations, and appellate cases involving federal, state and local employment, privacy, and consumer laws. She has experience working on cases involving unpaid wages, employee misclassification, unlawful credit checks, consumer fraud, civil RICO, biometric privacy violations and compliance, retaliatory discharge, defamation, personal injury, and wrongful death. Anna makes it a priority to understand the goals and the personal experiences of her clients and stays abreast of the everchanging statutory developments, court opinions, and industry trends to better serve her clients’ needs.
Anna earned her Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law. While in law school, Anna was named to the Dean’s List, was elected President of the Moot Court Honor Society, and served as a Teaching Assistant for Legal Writing I & II classes. As a member of the moot court team, she earned team recognition as a semi-finalist and quarter-finalist and individual recognition as one of the top five oral advocates out of a field of more than 70 speakers.
Awards
For four consecutive years, Anna has been recognized by Chicago Magazine’s Super Lawyer section as a Rising Star, a distinction given to no more than 2.5% of Illinois lawyers.
Additionally, in recognition for her outstanding service to her law school and the Chicago legal community, Anna was one of only twelve graduating students inducted into the Chicago-Kent Bar & Gavel Society in 2018.
